Michelle Segre has exhibited her work widely since the mid-1990's. A graduate of the Cooper Union School of Art (BFA, 1987), recent solo shows include "Symptoms of Escape Velocity," at Derek Eller Gallery in New York; the Cress Gallery, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga; and a survey at the University Art Museum at SUNY Albany. Past solo shows include the Derek Eller Gallery in New York, the Daniel Weinberg Gallery in Los Angeles, and Murray Guy Gallery, NY. Selected group shows include the American Academy of Arts and Letters, NY; the P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center in NY; the Aldrich Museum in Ridgefield, CT; the Tang Teaching Museum in Saratoga Springs, NY; the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art in Colorado; and the Palazzo D'Aregno in Rimini, Italy. Segre is currently a visiting artist professor at the Cooper Union and an adjunct professor at LaGuardia Community College, CUNY.
