Mary Ellen Carroll is a conceptual artist who lives and works in New York City and Houston. Her prolific career spans more than twenty years and a focus of the disciplines of art and architecture, public policy, writing, performance/film and technology.  Carroll is the recipient of numerous grants and honors.  She also received an award for the Pennies from Heaven Fund for her contribution to the city of New York for her socially visionary work. Her work has been exhibited at numerous American and international galleries and belongs to numerous public and private collections.
