Daniel Canogar is a Spanish artist whose primary medium is installation art. His work combines video, sculpture, and photography and centers around issues related to memory, obsolescence, and digital culture. He often scours junk-‐‑yards, recycling centers, and dumpsters for abandoned and broken consumer electronics that are then metaphorically reignited with life via video-‐‑projections. He creates public-‐‑participation events via green-‐‑screen technology, allowing individuals to follow the process of making a digital artwork, from recording to screening of the final artwork.
